Delete your account

You can do this yourself, in about ten seconds, without asking us.

From inside the app

1 Open JCheck and go to Settings, the last tab.
2 Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
3 Confirm. That is it, it happens immediately.

What is deleted

Everything, straight away and permanently:

your account and email address;
every list you own, and everything on it;
your entire purchase history and the figures built from it;
your access to any list someone else shared with you.

A list you own is deleted for everyone on it. A list somebody else owns stays with them; you are simply removed from it.

There is no grace period and no backup we can restore from. Once it is gone, it is gone.

What we keep afterwards

Nothing that identifies you. Ordinary web server logs roll over on a short cycle, and are not linked to your account. More detail in the privacy policy.
